What Is Disruption?
"There is way too much talk about disruption!" Yes, that's true, but the term 'disruption' is often used incorrectly. However, this doesn't make true disruption less relevant so let's get a handle on what it is, because we can't afford not to.
On June 15 we are hosting a conference on this topic at Odense Congress Center, Denmark.
This conference is itself also a bit different from traditional conferences - otherwise we would not be honouring the theme of disruption. However, as always, we have a number of exciting speakers lined up who, in their own particlular way, will illuminate and inspire:
- Alex Barbosa, who is currently putting the finishing touches to his MBA dissertation on disruption, will present a whole new way to work with this topic
- Erik Lund, CEO of Strecon, informs from a strategic angle, how they have turned their business and the whole market completely upside down
- Sten Beltman Jørgensen, Corporate Sales Excellence Manager at LINAK, talks about why we need to fundamentally change the way we sell
- Søren Wandy Pedersen, Chief Marketing Officer of Howden, has a marketing angle, proposing that we have to change the way in which we communicate
And here’s the novelty: throughout the day there is an on-going case to work with. Niels Kjærgaard, who is VP of Sales & Marketing at GRAS, will present a concrete challenge (created by a competitor in the market), and it is our task to come forward with specific suggestions. As usual, we conclude the day with a both fun and relevant speech. This time it's Thomas Grønnemark, who will be talking about 'lazy energy'. Disruption sounds stressful, so he'll be giving us an exciting, fun and provocative recipe for how we can do less and achieve more.
